DN2222 Applied Numerical Methods, part 2: Numerical Algebra, 3 ECTS
The next round will be given in autumn 2012 Problems of linear algebra are fundamental to all algorithms in Scientific Computing. These problems are so basic since many (if not all) other numerical problems are reduced to one or a sequence of linear algebra problems. As a consequence, well-developed software is available (e.g., LAPACK, matlab,...). You have had an introduction to linear algebra algorithms in the basic course of numerical analysis. So, why do it once again? The aim of the present course is two-fold:
RegistrationAdvance registration of PhD students to Irene Hanke, 7909865 is recommended. KTH undergraduate students have to register with their Sektionskansli !
Further information about the course is given by
Course evaluationBy the end of the course I would like to ask you to answer the questions of the course evaluation form.Current Course-information on part 2Earlier rounds can be found here.
