I am available for discussions of course and examination after lectures, 
by email appointment, and Thursday Jan 21 and Jan 28 at 8:15-10, 
outside my room 1436, E-house floor 4.
If door is locked, try your card or use bell.

Note that homework assignments specified in lecture schedule is part of
examination for DD2447. Students of DD3342 are also recommended to do homeworks.
The homework assignments are exercises in the lecture notes course compendium.

First homework due on Feb 3, 2010.

Homework rules:
Submitted as email attachment or signed on paper.
attachment/paper must have names of student(s) and number of course,
and also state kind of help you or team received from others.
Cooperation on homeworks in teams of two or three is permitted.
For email submission each team member should submit from KTH mail account
if you are student at KTH.
For paper submission each team member must sign a paper handed in.

The solution should include some explanation how you proceeded, 
and be prepared to explain it to me if necessary.

Research level course: Students define examination together with me. You are
welcome to discuss examination when you have some idea of what you want to do,
but I can also suggest a suitable way for you (depending, of course, on your interests).
