This will be an exercise on sampling rate conversion and general issues with basic audio signal processing. Then at 13-15, ROOM CHANGE, in Fantum (NOT in V21), I will start on software architectures for audio.2010-11-08: On Tuesday 16th November there will be another field trip, in the evening, to Studio Blue. This is a recording studio and a sound technician school located to the south of the city. The visit there starts at 19:30 in the evening. We will visit the studio of Stockholm Mastering at Artillerigatan 81 (http://www.stockholmmastering.se/en.html). Our host is Sofia von Hage. On arrival, call her on 076-628 0644 and she will come and open the door. They can receive about ten people at a time, so we may need to split into two groups, at one o'clock and two o'clock, sharp. The first lecture of the course will take place on 25 October at 15:15-17:00, in the lecture room Fantum of the TMH department. The address is Lindstedtsvägen 24, level 5. It is important to attend this lecture, because you will need quickly to form groups for the course assignment and to sign up for the laboratory sessions. Also, it is important for us to know exactly who will be attending the course. If you cannot attend on this first occasion, please let me know in advance, so that I can plan for you anyway.
