Postdoc positions

The Centre for Autonomous Systems (CAS) and Computational Vision and Active Perception Laboratory (CVAP) at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden announces 5 postdoctoral positions in the following fields:

  • Sensor Guided Object Grasping and Manipulation
  • Spatial Modeling, Navigation and SLAM
  • Fault diagnosis and recovery Reasoning and Planning
  • Active vision systems
  • Systems integration


  • CAS performs research in autonomous systems including mobile robot systems for manufacturing, domestic and field applications. Research at CVAP considers all aspects of computer vision and machine learning.

    Requirements:
    Candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent in one of the areas of Computer Science, Automatic Control, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learaning. Candidates are also expected to be experienced with programming in C++ and Matlab. The appointment will be full time for a period of one year to three years.
