09/2008 to 08/2012:
Researcher at the Computational Vision and Active Perception Lab (CVAP) at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. Member of the EU research project "GRASP -- Emergence of Cognitive Grasping through Introspection, Emulation and Surprise", EU IST-FP7-IP-215821.

08/2004 to 07/2008:
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, USA, according to the Ph.D. thesis "Model-Based Studies of Control Strategies for Noisy, Redundant Musculoskeletal Systems".

Research Interests


Current interests:
Probabilistic Graphical Models, Inference-based Plan and Control, Machine Vision, and Intelligent Robotics.

Former (PhD, 2004-2008) interests:
Neural Rehabilitation, Computational Neuroscience, Neural Control of Movement.
