I am a PhD student at the School of Computer Science and Communication belonging to the group Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (CBB). I work with different genome assembly problems and are currently involved in a project studying the genome of the norwegian spruce. My advisor is Lars Arvestad.

Before my employment as a PhD student, I earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics (my Bachelor thesis on theoretcal properties of splines) and a master's degree in mathematical statistics (my Master thesis on convergence and burn-in estimation of MCMC output).
