Who I am I am professor in numerical analysis at NADA KTH. I took my Ph D in Lund 1970 and have been working  in Umeå 1970-1983, at Chalmers in Göteborg  1983-2001, at KTH Stockholm since 2001. Research My field is numerical linear algebra with an emphasis on numerical computation of eigenvalues and some detours towards parameter estimation and approximation. Private I am active in Kristna Fredsrörelsen , the Swedish branch of IFOR , the International Fellowship of Reconciliation I lived 1983- 2008 in cohousing. See  Cohousing and Kollektivhus nu! The last part in an ecological cohousing community  in Gebers, Orhem in southern Stockholm. My apartment there is now for sale, see information! Gunlaug Östbye , was the one that made me move to Stockholm We got married on May 23, 2004 in Bergsjön and had a party June 5, 2004 at Gebers I celebrated my 60-th birthday a few years ago, see pictures from conference!
