Tony Lindeberg is a professor of Computer Science -- Computational Vision. Main subjects of his research concern scale-space theory, early vision and image representations in terms of receptive fields for visual tasks such as feature detection, object recognition and spatio-temporal recognition as well as computational modelling of biological vision. He has also worked on topics in medical image analysis and gesture recognition. He is author of the book Scale-Space Theory in Computer Vision.
