write with the help of tablet platforms
Abstract
Tablet platforms have become increasingly common
as devices in the home, work, and now even in primary schools, since they were
launched in 2010. Sollentuna kommun
has decided that until 2013 to introduce digital platforms in all primary
schools in Sollentuna kommun
and education management has decided to include 13 schools in the Stockholm
area, try tablet platforms in teaching. They are among the first schools in the
Stockholm region which has taken this decision. In addition to these schools,
there are a number of schools that used the tablet platforms then Apple's
launch of their model of tablet platform, iPad
This report is a study on how students in first
grade uses tablet platforms and what differences there are in this platform to
aid in the learning of reading and against illiteracy, compared with the
traditional method with paper and pencil. To investigate this, we observed
various classes that make use of tablet platforms in teaching since they
launched in 2010, talked to people with expertise in the field and studied
literature in the field.
The result we have come to show that they are a
strong commitment among the schools using tablet platforms in teaching and the
results show that there is a clear place for these platforms in school
development of learning methods. However, there are certain parameters that
should be taken into account when we decide whether tablet platforms fits into
the school as it is used in these parameters are as schools that will implement
this tool should keep in mind to see if this platform suitable to their needs.
