Abstract
Some
influential voices believe that the 3D effect works best on small, intimate
dramas. In such productions, dialogue is one of the most important elements. We
analyse if 3D is an appreciated effect in these situations. This report identifies
the factors that have the potential to make the 3D-experience different from
the 2D and how a focus group feel about the changes, based on these factors. It
turns out that 3D can be enhancing if done correctly, but that it is difficult.
The possible mistakes are many. In this report we draw conclusions about how
these mistakes occur and can be avoided.
