The need to evaluate the working
standards of technology factories has become a growingly present matter as an
increased amount of extreme cases have been published in media.
In this study we have researched how
Swedish companies, in the technology industry, work with these kind of
evaluations today and how they might be able to improve their work by getting
inspiration from other industries.
The different companies that execute
these controls are all more or less working in the same way. If this is to be
considered as an advantage or disadvantage is hard to say, but there are
performance gaps in the process that could be excluded by well directed
investments.
An obvious requisition for the
industry to improve in their CSR related work, is for the larger companies to
be pioneers in the area and set a standard in the industry that other companies
must comply to.
