The code for the minesweep server including the extra information about what team is player1 and player2 in the statistics windw can be downloaded here ms-200610181742.zip . This also includes the test batch data and the qualification data. Please note that when you run a batch file the server will create an output file with all the results from the run, including the name of the minefield file, the size etc so that you can go back and analyze it afterwards.

Bug fixed. MineClient.java did not register the message that the other player had stopped correctly. Now should be fixed. Thanks Rozbeh!

In homework 3, part A there should stand that the weather is known for t_1 and not t_0. Also, try this applet it can help you to see if some of your estimations are correct (thanks Linus!).

The programming assignment in homework 3 can be done in pairs as it was the case for homework 2. Deadline for homework 3 is October 13th.

Homework1 is now corrected. You can get it back close to where you handed in the homeworks. It is on the oppostite side of the small hall outside the student office. Have a look at the page with homework for information about the grading.

  • Project report delivery moved to Friday Oct 20, 15:00
  • Minesweep competition held Oct 18 from 3pm. Two members from each team needed.
  • Presentations of projects will be Oct 23-25. List to book tme slot posted Oct 17.

The last two lectures have been rescheduled in accordance with what was agreed upon on lecture 4. Lecture 11 will be given right after lecture 9. It will be in room E3. Lecture 12 will be given right after lecture 10 and we will stay in room E2.

A list that can be used when forming groups for the project has been placed in the same box as you hand in the homework. The idea is that incomplete groups can sign there names there as a way to help find more team member to fill the team (4 people). So if you are looking for a group you can use this list to get in contact with groups that need more people.

Bug fixes to the minesweep code. Accidently wrecked the code for letting the agent play inside the server when fixing the server/client type play. The new release is ms-200609130901.zip (see project page)

The people (13) that signed up for access cards during the first lecture will get the cards during the second lectures (today Sept 6). If you cannot come to the lecture please contact the lecturer for to set up an appointment to sign out the card.
