Using computational modeling, I study the dynamics of neurons, with a focus on ion channels and pumps.
Specifically, I am interested in (1) the mechanisms of mGlu/TRPC mediated synaptic/dendritic currents in the brain, (2) pathophysiology in peripheral pain signals and (3) optimization of stimulus protocols used in Deep Brain Stimulation.
