Labs

There are 7 labs. The labs are mandatory and are worth three credits. To get credit for the course all of the labs must be completed.

Each lab is given two times. Choose one occasion for each lab using the reservation link below.

All labs are made using the router lab with Juniper equipment.

Booking of labs You must book lab occasions. Book one time for each lab - seven times in total. Form groups of 4-6 students at the lab.

Come prepared to the lab: if there are any preparation questions, do them before the lab. If you come unprepared, you may be asked to leave and complete the lab at a later date.

Also come in time to the lab: they start sharp at the hour (ie 8:00 does not mean 8:15). If you come too late you may be asked to leave and make the lab at a later date.

Note that revisions of an instruction can change during the course. Check if there is a newer version than your local copy before you start the lab.

  Mcast package: mcast.tgz (unpack with tar xzf)
• Lab 6 BGP (rev 1.12)
• Lab 7 MPLS/RSVP/BGP (rev 1.7)
  
• Make-up There are two extra labs (see schedule) for make-ups. Please synchronize with other students to form a group.
