Leif Dahlberg has recently completed a research project on the construction and representation of legal spaces in law, literature and political philosophy in works from Greek antiquity to the present. His next project deals with questions of law, mobility and technology, focusing on topics such as free mobility in the EU; irregular migration and legal rights; biometrics, postcolonialism and law; ICT, surveillance and privacy.

Other research include: narration in/with new media; studies in media history; visual culture and advertising; interrelations between late literary modernism and German Romanticism.
