The inliner prints on the screen the paths to the inlined classes.
The inlined files of the example application can be downloaded here:
MobileJam.jar
MobileJam.jad
When the inlining step is performed, the resulting class files are written
in the directory inlined/working/. In order to create a .jar file from the modified program these steps have to be followed:
- The files except the .class files should be restored in the inlined/working/ directory according to their original placement in the target code.
- In order to run the modified application, the class files should first be verified using the verifier of the WTK. Assuming that the executables of WTK are in the user's classpath, the following command can be used for this purpose:
preverify
-classpath .:cldcapi11.jar:jsr082.jar:jsr179.jar:midpapi21.jar
-d ../inlinedVerified inlined/working/MobileJam/
- Then the files should be compressed into a .jar file:
jar cvfm ../Inlined.jar inlinedVerified/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF inlinedVerified/*
- As a final step the size field of the .jad file of MobileJam should be updated to the size of the new .jar file.
