Multiple View Geometry Course

Requirements

The course includes 9 two-hour meetings as specified in Schedule & Activity.

The first meeting will include an introductory presentation given by a tutor, followed by presentation of Chapter 2 of the course book prepared by students. All students should read Chapter 2 before the first meeting to be able to take active part in discussion and ask questions in case of any doubts. After the meeting a set of homework problems related to this chapter will be released. Solutions to the problems have to be handed in at the second meeting.

The meetings 2-9 will consist of the two parts: (1) an exercise session supervised by a tutor; and (2) a presentation of a relevant chapter of the course book prepared by students. Before the meeting all students should:
  • solve the homework problems which were released at the previous meeting, and
  • read a relevant part of the book
as specified in Schedule & Activity. At the meeting:
  • hand in solutions to the problems which were released at the previous meeting;
    The deadline for handing in solutions to the assignment handed out at the meeting N is at the meeting N+1. In case you can not be at the meeting send homework problem solutions via email to Stefan Carlsson.
  • students assigned by a tutor (during the meeting) will present their solutions to the problems or results obtained for implemented algorithms;
  • pre-assigned students will present a new part of the book.
During the course each student will have to give twice the presentation based on a chapter (or part of a chapter) of the course book. Students may freely choose topics to present, thus it is important to pick up your topics well in advance (for this purpose contact Marianna Pronobis). In total, the presentation(s) given by the student(s) during one meeting should not take longer than 50 minutes. Please contact other students signed up for the same occasion in order to share the work. Attendance at the course meetings is obligatory, and each student should participate actively in the meetings.
